Research On Musical Elements Of Chinese Opera In Non-Chinese Opera Films

Chinese films have been closely related to Chinese opera since their birth.With the deepening of Chinese film exploration of Nationalization Road,more and more films begin to draw lessons from the traditional art form of drama,and the art of Chinese opera is applied to the creation of modern films through elements,which has found a new and effective way of development for the nationalization of Chinese films.Among the many elements of Chinese opera,the musical elements of Chinese opera,by virtue of some common characteristics of film music,not only make it possible to use it widely in film,but also provide a new way for the combination of Chinese opera and film art forms in the present.Taking the musical elements of Chinese opera in non-Chinese opera films as the research object,this paper makes a systematic study on the phenomenon of using Chinese opera music elements in non-Chinese opera films.There are more opera dramas in non-Chinese opera films,such as Peking Opera,Cantonese qu and qin cavity,and there are often two ways of presenting Chinese opera music elements in non-Chinese opera films: direct been performed and re-creation.It has the functions of showing the characteristics of space-time,rendering the environment,promoting the development of the plot,showing the effect of sadness and joy,shaping the characters and expressing the theme of the film.No matter from the point of view of film or drama,the use of Chinese opera music elements in non-Chinese opera film films have their own successes and shortcomings.The success lies in expanding the target audience of the film,adding the national flavor of the film,promoting the spread of the Chinese opera art,etc.,the deficiency is that the film involved in the Chinese operas are more limited,the use of Chinese opera music elements of the film type is not rich enough,Chinese opera music elements of the audience acceptance is also relatively low.Measures such as expanding the scope of use of Chinese opera music elements and improving the acceptance of musical elements in Chinese opera can improve these shortcomings better.Hope that through the above efforts can provide theoretical reference for the future development of Chinese film nationalization.
