On E-C Translation Of Economic Texts

Economic texts are very common to be seen in modem commercial society.This kind of texts has its own features,such as the frequent use of technical terms,proper names,abbreviations,and a large number of nominal phrases,long and complex sentences.It is very professional and formal in style.The author makes a detailed description of the whole translation process,including pre-translation,while-translation and post-translation,and tries to explore the diffieulties of translating economic texts and the solutions to overcome them,through her translation practice of an economic text called Corporate Governance and Blockchains.Hopefully,the author can find out the translation principles and techniques in translating other common economic texts and provide gains and lessons for other translation learners.This paper initially gives a brief introduction of the background of this research and the features and significance of this task.Then,it gives a detailed description of the translation procedure,from preparation,translation and refinement,which is the common procedure of doing translation practices.Next,it is the body-a case study.The author explores the language characteristics of the source text,translation techniques applied in dealing with the difficult parts?and refine the translation after consulting with students majoring in economics and reading parallel English and Chinese texts.Finally,it is the conclusion,containing gains and lessons from this practice and where should be improved in the future.
