| False memory is a false belief that something that never happened has happened. The developmental reversal of false memory means that as the age increases, the subject’s false memory tends to increase. There are three purposes of this study:(1)Can fuzzy trace theory explain the false memory in DRM paradigm;(2)Does the developmental reversal of false memory exist in the context of Chinese characters;(3)Whether the fuzzy trace theory is also applicable to explain the developmental reversal of false memory.A total of four experiments were designed in this study. In the first experiment the subject was judged by the judgment of the first word structure of the presented words under the presentation time condition of 2s to increase the character of the traces and explore its influence on the false memory.64 subjects were selected, using 2(task mode:judgment,no judgment)X 3(project type:learned words, irrelevant words, key decoy words)mixed experimental design,in which the task mode is inter-group variables, project type Is a variable within the group.Exploring whether the task of judging word structure can play a role in increasing the representation of literal marks. The experimental results show that there is a judgment that the error memory of the task group is lower than that of the non-judgment group, but it has not reached a significant difference.Experiments show that under the condition of 2s presentation time,it can be further explored whether the word structure task can increase the representation of the literal trace. In the second experiment,Exploring its impact on false memory by manipulating literal trace representation and key trace representation.260 subjects were selected, using 2(task mode:judgment,no judgment)X 2(presentation order:random, fixed)X 2(presentation time:1s,2s)X 3(item type:learned words, irrelevant words, key decoy words)mixed experimental design. The item type is the internal variable of the subject, and the others are the variables between the subjects.Exploring whether the operation of word judgment task can increase the representation of literal traces and reduce the effect of false memory;Whether the fixed presentation order can increase the false memory by increasing the trace representation of the points. It is found that the influence of time on false memoiy is not significant;the judgment of the first word structure task induces less false memory than the non-judgment task:in the absence of judgment task, the fixed presentation order will induce more than the random presentation order of false memoiy. The results show that the task of judging the font structure plays a role in increasing the representation of the literal traces. The fixed presentation order plays a role in increasing the trace representation of the points. In the third experiment.35 subjects were selected, and 3(test times:Is,2s,3s)X 3(project type:learned words, irrelevant words, key decoy words)were designed to be tested.Increasing the number of tests can increase the role of traces and increase the false memory. It was found that there was no significant difference in the error memory between the different test times under the random presentation order. It have shown that increasing the number of tests during the extraction phase does not serve to increase the characterization of the traces. In the fourth experiment,a total of 189 children were selected from the 7-year-old group(second grade).9-year-old group(fourth grade),and 11-year-old group(sixth grade),using 2(task mode:judgment,no judgment)× 3(age:7 years old),9 years old,11 years old)× 3(project type:learned words, irrelevant words, key decoy words)mixed experimental design.in which the task mode and age are inter-test variables, the project type is the internal variable of the test, and the false memory is explored.Whether the phenomenon of memory development reversal exists, and whether the characterization of literal marks in the coding stage can reverse this phenomenon. The results showed that the false memory of 11-year-old children was significantly higher than that of 9-year-old and 7-year-old children;in the random presentation order, there was no significant difference in children’s false memory between the judgment task and the non-judgment task at the same age;children of different ages were judged. The difference in error memory under the task is not significant. Results show that the developmental reversal of false memory is found in the Chinese environment, but in the random presentation order, increasing the representation of the literal trace does not reverse the phenomenon. Therefore, this study found that in the learning coding stage, the subjects can judge the font structure task to increase the effect of the literal trace representation. The presentation of the learning words in the fixed order can also induce more false memories. The interpretation of fuzzy trace theory on false memories in the DRM paradigm is reasonable.Secondly, the phenomenon of false memory reversal is found under the Chinese characters. As the age increases, the children’s false memory increases continuously. However,by increasing the number of tests during the extraction phase, the traces of the points are not significantly increased. The effect of using the font judgment task in the random presentation order to increase the representation of the literal trace to weaken false memory reversal phenomenon is not significant.Whether the fuzzy trace theory can explain the developmental reversal of false memory needs further verification. |
