Study On The "Anthology Of Kongtong" Of Yang Shen

As the foremost erudite person in ming dynasity,Yang Shen is not only a poet but also a discerning critic.Various poetry anthologies from the Pre-Qin Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty have been compiled to illustrate his own poetic views."Selected Poems of Kongtong" as an anthology of Li Mengyang’s poems,Yang Shen selected 128 poems from Li Mengyang’s 2149 poems with rigorous attitude of choosing poems because he was not satisfied with "the Apprenticeship of his seven-character rhythm",which is an important text reflecting Yang Shen’s overall attitude towards the mainstream literary world.This paper takes " anthology of kongtong " as the research object.The main content of the paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the current academic research on the literature and literature of " anthology of kongtong ",as well as the related research on Yang Shen and Li Mengyang’s poetry theory and creation.The second part is the main body of the thesis,which is divided into four chapters to reveal the critical thought of " anthology of kongtong ".According to Yang Shen’s Selected Titles of Kongtong Poetry,this paper comments on Kongtong Poetry from the perspective of poetry separation.This part is also carried out from the perspective of poetry segmental criticism.The first chapter is Yuefu Criticism,which analyses Yang Shen’s Yuefu Poetics,which traces back to Saoya,advocates Han Diao and does not abolish the Six Dynasties.The second chapter is Gexing Criticism,which discusses Yang Shen’s appreciation of Li Mengyang’s song’s features such as "history of poetry" and being good at using ancient rhymes and arranging proper posts.The third chapter is Lvjue Criticism,in which quatrains are superior to regular poems.Quatrains criticism is mainly discussed from three aspects: Five quatrains is better than seven quatrains,distinguishing quatrains from Yuefu style and advocating imitation of "Li Wang".The criticism of rhymed poems has both praises and demerits.It has the foremost comment of Kongtong seven rhymes,but it also demotes the drawbacks of imitating and using words without examining them.The last chapter is the criticism of the ancient poem with five characters,which is embodied in Yang Shen’s preference to Beauty for the ancient poem with five characters with those materials such as Selected Works of Kongtong and Li Du..The third part is the appendix,the first appendix explores the related issues of the textual research about "Additonal anthology of kongtong ".This part mainly clarifies the relationship between the four volumes of "Additonal Poetry Selection Of Kongtong" and the first edition of " anthology of kongtong " in Zhang Hanbaihua bookshop,and examines the compilers of "Additonal Poetry Selection Of Kongtong" as well as excavation of its literature value.the second appendix is the four volumes of "anthology of kongtong" proofreadYang Shen selected the poetry of Li Mengyang,the leader of the poetry circle who died shortly but still having great honor,as the four volumes of " anthology of kongtong ".The Six Dynasties School headed by Yang Shen is a literary school which rises through criticizing and developing the first seven schools headed by Li Mengyang.Therefore,the anthology is an important carrier to elucidate the literary propositions of the former,which has certain value and significance to study Yang Shen and Li Mengyang’s poetic and even later literary criticism.
