Marx's and Confucius' moral theories originated in different times and social systems, and there are many differences. However, they have similarities in terms of system structure, philosophical nature, moral ideal and so on.They complement each other in the way of moral realization. This paper first combs the contents of the two moral theories, then analyses their similarities and differences,on this basis, attempts to make a theoretical complementary study of the two moral systems, trying to creatively combine the two to provide a way of thinking for solving the moral problems in contemporary China.Chapter ?,discussing Marx's morality. The development of Marx's morality is divided into three stages: liberalism, humanism and historical materialism. The representative thoughts of the three stages are as follows: Freedom is the quasi-essence of all spiritual existence;Only from the alienation of human beings to the return of human nature can the liberation of human beings be realized.;The essence of morality is the product of social and historical development. The core value of Marx's morality is freedom and justice.Marx believes that freedom is the premise of self-realization and human community. He analyzed the problem of justice with the methodology of historical materialism and believed that adapting to the situation of economic development was the key to judge the justice of things.Chapter ?,combing Confucius' s morality.Morality in Analects of Confucius is mainly distinguished from moral quality and moral behavior."Morality" in The Analects of Confucius can be divided into "moral quality" and "moral behavior".The connotation of Confucius' morality has four aspects: the defense of heaven and man,the principle of benevolence and morality, the distinction of righteousness and benefit, and the restoration of propriety.Starting from the relationship between heaven and man,Confucius takes "benevolence" as the core to carry out the "distinction between justice and benefit" between groups and individuals, and finally points to his moral ideal.:the ideal personality of the Inner and External King and the ideal society of the whole country.Chapter ?,discussing the harmony between Marx and Confucius' moral outlook. The combination of the two is embodied in the three aspects of the thought structure, the philosophical character and the moral ideal. In the ideological structure, both of them carry out the ideological system with people as the core;in the philosophical nature, both of them are social, practical and valuable;in the moral ideal, they both have double moral ideals-all-round development of human beings and gentlemen, communist society and Datong society.Chapter ?,analyzes the integration of Marx and Confucius' morality. There are differences between Marx and Confucius in the moral source and the way of practice. In terms of moral source,Confucius believes that morality comes from destiny, and Marx's historical materialism moral view points out that morality is the product of economic development and restricted by it.In practice,Confucius advocated moral education and Marx advocated revolution as a means. The combination of the moral view of Marx's historical materialism with the moral view of Confucius, which is the core of the " benevolence",can realize the combination of the social ethics and the internal morality in the context of China.
