As one of the most important left-wing writers and Marxist Historians, Guo Moruo's novel Marx's visit to Confucian temple issued in 1925 was deserved to be rethought. Not only because singleness and fantasticality of its fictitious polt, but its selected style and contained cross thinking also related to a good many absorbing questions about transforming ideology of 20 century in China.During the continuing course of modern Chinese ideology, the correlation between Marxism and Confucianism have caught many scholars' eye, and there have already been abundant critics about it that we can benefit from. Though Guo Moruo is one important people during the localization of Marxism, but this novel didn't attract enough attention. Forsooth, from the poetical point, this novel lack enough literature value, from historical view, it was a novel, so it can' t offer creditable historical material generally. This article tries to analyze from the crossover by above-mentioned two angles, reinterpret the social information the novel revealed, conjecture author's intention, to approach the scene the text produced, turn on a poetic-historical insight, seek new aspects of ideological and cultural prospect in modern China.Although the word count of this short novel is only about 4000 words, information in it is plentiful. The novel not only lays out Guo Moruo's idealistic views in 1920s, but also conserves tendency of much intellectual deed which is deserve to be revalued. By introducing some interesting ideological questions in 1920s'China, I will analyze some fictitious details in the whole ideological context, weave an ideological network based on the axis of the text according to the novel's narrative logic. In succession, the neglected details of the course of Guo Moruo's turning into a Marxist and the transformation of Guo Moruo's Confucian complex along with the localization of Marxism will be tidied up.
