| The "Belt and Road" Initiative is of a great significance to China,and it has made great achievements since it was put forward in 2013,but discussion and argument of the initiative have been increased at the same time.Based on this assumption,the study on international communication of the "Belt and Road" initiative is of great significance.The thesis studies on how to improve internation discourse of the "Belt and Road"Initiative based on analysis of its translation.In the thesis,one of international relations monographs called China’s Eurasian Century?Political and Strategic Implications of the Belt and Road Initiative was translated to be a translation report for analysis.The thesis uses narrative translation theory as guide,aims to collect more effective information and finally summarizes how to translate international relations monographs.It is shown in the study that fisrt,it is generallt held that in translation practice,it is necessary to take three aspects,translation perspective,translation process and translation assessment into consideration.Second,it is important for translators to choose a perspective based on translation purpose.It is of great importance that translator is supposed to choose individual or public perspective flexibly according to different content The translation is required to ensure its faithfulness,readability and acceptability,based on which text structure and sentences will be reconstructed and sensitive words which are often presented in the monograph will be recreated or even deleted Third,translator is supposed to be responsible for translation,so it is necessary to assess whether translation is accord with appropriate value or not after translation process. |
