For more than 40 years of Reform and Opening up,China's society has developed rapidly, and profound changes have taken place in everything from clothing and food to education, transportation, and culture.,this change is more obvious in ethnic minority areas. There are 56 ethnic groups in Guizhou,17 ethnic minorities, and a multi-ethnic province. Each ethnic group has its own distinct characteristics.Due to historical, geographical and social reasons, ethnic groups are intermingled, making ethnic minorities in Guizhou more diverse and integration. In recent years,Guizhou Province has vigorously promoted the integration of “tourism +culture” and “tourism + sports”,the tourism industry in the province is welcoming the development of tourism, tourism is the carrier, culture is the soul,so the development of culture is particularly important. This paper takes the Communication Infrastructure theory of American communication scholar and sociologist Sandra Ball-Rokeach as the research perspective, combines the reality of Maojian Town to investigate the Communication Infrastructure of Buyi ethnic communication in Maojian Town. The author conducted a two-month field survey in Maojian Town, closely observed the daily life of the inhabitants in Maojian Town, and conducted in-depth interviews with 30 inhabitants as a reference for this study. The study found that the open communication action environment and the relatively independent storytelling system constitute the Communication Infrastructure of the Buyi culture in Maojian Town.Different from Ball-Rokeach's Communication Infrastructure theory, which emphasizes the meso and micro storytellers, the macro storyteller plays a major role in the Communication Infrastructure of the Buyi culture in Maojian Town, while the mesoscopic and micro-story narrators did not play a significant role, which affected the spread and development of the Buyi culture to a certain exten.
