For most interpreters,the most difficult things in CI training are listening and understanding source language,remembering source language and expressing source language in target language.Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model,the model applied to guide interpreting teaching or practice,is a descriptive mode from the perspective of theory and it is also a prescriptive mode to solve the problems or difficulties in CI training.Thus,in order to resolve the difficulties existed in CI training and to discuss the effect of the Model when applied in CI training,the research would like to select ten MTI postgraduate students in a university as the research objects.At the same time,in accordance with the Relevance Theory,Interpretive Theory and Adaptation Theory involved in RDA Model,the brief introduction about research implementation would be given and meanwhile,the data obtained in the research would be analyzed when confirmed the research approach,object of research and unit of analysis in research.In view of the interpreting ability of ten students,they could be divided into three groups,namely,the group of students who are average in performance of interpreting,the group of students who perform well in interpreting and the group of students who perform poorly in interpreting.When selecting three representatives from the three groups respectively,the case analyses of the students' performance could be conducted.Based on the analyses and the self-evaluation collected,the hypothesis of the research that the RDA Model can help improve interpreting skills for student interpreters when it is applied in CI training is proposed.In order to verify the hypothesis,some questionnaires are carried out to conduct evaluation scale analysis with four evaluation items.The research finds that the application of RDA model in CI training can help students improve the ability in listening and understanding source language and can help students strengthen their overall level of expression,language logic of target language and the interpreting ability.And therefore,it could be said that the hypothesis put forward in this thesis is succeed.But because different student interpreters have various interpreting ability and understanding ability,such improvement is also different for these student interpreters.Therefore,different student interpreters have different feeling about the improvement in interpreting ability after learning RDA Model.The research of this thesis aims to provide specific experience for interpreters,teachers and researchers who will study RDA models in the future and to provide a new practical reference for CI training teaching in the new era.
