Mr.Zhong,a famous film critic in China,pioneered the concept of "Western Chinese film" in the 80 's.It has been more than 30 years since Mr.Chung proposed the concept.During this period,the western film has experienced the prosperity period(initial),the lost period and the wandering period(medium term),art and business two modes of development and so on.Nowadays,under the background of the era of commodity economy,in the film market,directors must face the real problems,mainly the box office and the audience's love and so on.In this market environment,Chinese traditional Western film works have encountered the bottleneck of its development.However,along with the sixth generation and the new generation of film directors continue to sharpen,a kind of Chinese traditional western film but combined with the western United States type of film elements of China's "newly western film" stood on the historical stage.China's "new Western film" with its anti-traditional carnival spectacle,violent writing and absurd theme has opened up a black absurdity as the tone of the Chinese and western integration of the type of road.Compared with the traditional western Chinese films,there are both inheritance and rebellion,forming a very different perspective and style from the previous,about the bottom and edge of the story.In the anti-tradition to explore the type of road,and strive to find a balance in business and art,China's "new film" has gradually become a new banner of western Chinese film.
