Study Of Li Yuyang And His Poetry

Li Yuyang is a poet with certain significance and status in the history.of Yunnan poetry.He was a poet of Yunnan who was active in Chia-Ching period of Qing Dynasty.He and Dai Jiongsun,.Chi Shengchun,Yang Guohan,Dai Chun share the name of Five Talents in Wuhua.Li Yuyang liked to make friends,and had deep friendship with his teachers,classmates and fellow countrymen.At the same time,he also had deep friendship with Yiliang poet Yan Tingzhong,Lijiang poet Ma Zhilong and prestigious Gu Chun,Lin Zexu and others have communication.He is well-known in the poetry circle of Yunnan,.His poems were appreciated by many scholars and scholars at that time and later generations.The number of poems he has survived is quite abundant and his achievements are high,but because Yunnan is in the southwestern border,far away from the Central Plains,the spread and promotion of poetry is limited,so besides a small number of studies by local scholars in Yunnan,the study of Li Yuyang’s poetry has not been fully carried out,nor has there been a special systematic study of the poet himself and his works.This paper takes Li Yuyang and his poems Jiyuan Poetry Banknote as the object of study.On the basis of previous studies,through the relevant literature,this paper makes a special systematic study of Li Yuyang’s poetry.The first part mainly elaborates Li Yuyang’s family,life and his communication according to relevant historical materials,and introduces his writings;the second part introduces the age and geographical background of Li Yuyang’s life,so as to explore the source of his creation and the reasons why his poetry can not be widely spread;the third part mainly introduces the basic general situation of Li Yuyang’s poetry creation.The fourth part is a brief summary of the status and value of Li Yuyang’s poetry in Yunnan poetry circle on the basis of the previous parts.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the wholearticle.At the end of the article is the supplementary material "A Compendium of Li Yuyang’s Chronicle",which is supplementary to the research and reader’s review.After a comprehensive study of Li Yuyang’s biography and poetry creation,this paper holds that as a poet of Yunnan province.Li Yuyang’s poetry has its own uniqueness,but also its limitations.On the other hand,those poetry describing reality and reflecting reality have practical significance to supplcement history with poetry.As far as Li Yuyang’s position is concerned,although he is well-known in central Yunnan.there is still a big gap between him and the famous Yang Yiqing.Li Yuanyang.and Liu Dashen.etc.But we still have to admit that Li Yuyang’s poetry can not be ignored in Yunnan poetry circle.
