In recent years,China’s international influence has been increasing,and it has established close economic and non-governmental contacts with many countries in the world.The process of communication is bound to require a large number of people who are proficient in both languages.Many countries have set off a wave of Chinese learning.This upsurge has also blown to remote Argentina.In recent years,Argentina has a large number of enthusiastic local Chinese learners.Argentina’s local Chinese teaching level has also improved considerably.However,any type of second language learning will encounter one kind of problem or another.Because of the lack of second language environment,local language learners will encounter more difficulties than Chinese learners in China.Through the research,the author finds that many elementary level learners in Argentina will make many errors in the process of learning Chinese,especially in the study of Chinese prepositions.In the process of actual communication,Chinese prepositions are frequently used,and they are an important part of many sentence patterns.However,there has been little research on Spanish students’ acquisition of primary prepositions,and there is no research on Argentine native students’ acquisition of prepositions.In order to solve the problem of lack of information in this subject,the author studies the acquisition of Chinese prepositions by Argentine elementary level students in Argentina’s main Chinese teaching institutions.Through a questionnaire survey of Argentine elementary level Chinese language students,this paper focuses on their acquisition of Chinese preposition “在、跟、对、向”.From the results of the questionnaire and students’ daily practice,the reasons for the errors are analyzed,and the teaching strategies to improve the quality of Argentine education are put forward.This paper is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,the author elaborates the purpose and value of this study.The author also gives a detailed introduction to the previous studies on preposition acquisition by Latin American students by other scholars,as well as the research on Argentine Institutes of Chinese Education.Chapter two compares the use of the prepositions “在,跟,对,向” in Chinese and Spanish.Chapter three expounds the present situation of Argentine Chinese language education.In addition,the design purpose,design scheme,respondents and results of the questionnaire are explained.Chapter four analyses the errors(sequence errors,redundancies and omissions)of Argentine college students in the use of prepositions,and puts forward the causes of these errors: negative transfer of mother tongue(Spanish),limitations of the language(Chinese),inadequacies of teaching materials and teaching itself.Chapter five puts forward teaching strategies to help students overcome errors.It is hoped that this paper will supplement the research work of other scholars and contribute to the development of Chinese language education in Argentina and other Latin American countries. |
