Prepositions,as an important symbol of the semantic components of Chinese sentences projected on the syntactic plane,have the characteristics of adhesion and positioning.they play an indispensable role in constructing the “channels and collaterals” of the syntactic structure.On the whole,prepositions and body parts of speech constitute prepositional phrases,which mainly act as attributives,adverbials and complements to express grammatical meanings such as place,time,object,purpose and cause.Prepositions are regarded as an extremely important grammatical item both for ontological study and for the language teaching of Chinese as the target language.As for the latter,the study of preposition acquisition is so weak,even the case study is rare.We select in National Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency first-class word“Wei”(为)and“Wei le”(为了)occurring in the process of acquisition errors as the research object.By analyzing a group of preposition errors,this paper aims to further clarify the key points and difficulties of preposition acquisition,strengthen the overall arrangement of preposition teaching,and improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching.This paper uses three plane grammar theories to distinguish and analyze the prepositions,discusses their similarities and differences in semantics,syntax and pragmatics,and describes concise and practical grammatical rules.On the basis,combined with the bias analysis and interlanguage theories,we systematically comb out the 467 valid bias data(of which“Wei”(为)282 and“Wei le”(为了)185)retrieved from HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.The types of errors are summarized as“omission,misaddition and missubstitution”.This paper attempts to explore the causes of the errors mainly from the perspective of the internal factors of the language(the complexity of the grammatical rules of the target language,the negative transfer of the mother tongue,etc.).Finally,the paper puts forward some reasonable suggestions on the teaching of prepositions by combining with external factors(teachers,students,textbooks).
