‘Shenme’ is the most frequently used interrogative pronoun by Chinese native speakers and it is also used frequently by the second language learners.‘What’ is the equivalent of Chinese ‘Shenme’ in English.But they act different components in a sentence and the positions of these two words in a sentence is also different.According to the ‘Contrastive Analysis Hypothesis’ theory,‘Shenme’ is a difficult word of Chinese to learn for the native English speakers.In addition,there are more complicated non-interrogative uses of ‘Shenme’ in Chinese besides interrogative uses,which are also the difficulties for second language learners.At present,there are many ontological studies on ‘Shenme’,but few targeted acquisition analysis.Therefore,we based on ‘Three Planes of Grammar Study’ theory to analyze the use of ‘Shenme’ of native English speakers,analysis the frequency of utilization and the accuracy of the word to search the acquisition of interrogative pronoun ‘Shenme’,to examine the effects of learing of native English speakers who learn Chinese.Analysis the errors that appear in during their using of ‘Shenme’,summarize the causes of errors and provide specific advice of the interrogative pronoun for the teacher teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
