The paper is about the third and fourth volumes of the etymological interpretation of Shuowen,following on the content of the first and the second volumes wrotten by Wang Shijian.There are 1423 characters in all.Etymological discussion including a lot of studies during thousands of years.This article aims to collect various viewpoints according to The Times and integrate the text for reference.The article is divided into two parts:The first chapter is the introduction part,only makes the simple supplementary explanation to the etymology related introduction.The second chapter is the exegesis of three or four volumes of Shuowen.
