The Tao Of Life

The life view of Chinese traditional culture is the essence of the Chinese nation's accumulated thoughts for thousands of years.The concept of life view in Chinese traditional culture is reflected in the thoughts of Confucianism,Taoism,and doctors.There is a strong life care in the ideology of each sect.This kind of care makes the life thought of Chinese traditional philosophy pay more attention to the origin of life,the essence of life,the growth of life,and the transcendence of life.This paper explains the life view of Chinese traditional culture from three aspects:the origin of life,the growth of life,and the transcendence of life.First of all,life originated from the Tao,then the Tao produces Qi,and the Qi produces life under the catalytic conditions of De.Therefore,the life view of Chinese traditional culture is based on the theory of Qi.To understand the life thought of Chinese traditional culture,we must proceed from the theory of Qi,so that we can understand life and its true meaning from the essence of life.Secondly,life has its own growth process,including the body of life and the growth of the life De,which in turn can reach the coexistence of body and spirit.Finally,life has a process of transcendence that brings life back to the Tao,that is,the realization of the so-called Harmony between man and nature.Life comes from the Tao.After the growth of form and virtue,it is necessary to return to the Tao.The origin,growth,and transcendence of life are all in line with the process of Tao,realizing the return of Tao.The precise grasp of the traditional cultural view on life is conducive to our understanding and promotion of traditional culture and enhance our cultural confidence.
