Boneless painting is an important part of Chinese painting techniques other than meticulous brushwork and freehand brushwork.It emphasizes the importance of "boneless line and color drawing",which requires that the brush and ink still exist,and the pen is hidden by the shape,and directly USES color to constitute the picture.Although in ancient times the boneless method was more successful in flower and bird painting than figure painting,but for contemporary figure painting,boneless method seems to be a new way.The creation forms of contemporary Chinese painting are various,and the introduction of western painting color theory enriches the expression language of Chinese painting.Contemporary artists combine the boneless innovation with color expression,fully display the unique personality and pursuit,and create a large number of refreshing works.Here the author makes a brief explanation of the structure of this paper:The first chapter is the introduction.The second chapter first expounds the meaning of boneless method and makes a historical retrospection of the formation and development of boneless method.Among them,liang kai in the southern song dynasty was the pioneer and ren bonian in modern times played a connecting role in boneless figure painting on the basis of inheriting liang kai's painting style.The third chapter introduces the development of boneless method.In today's society the public aesthetic enhancement and the influx of foreign culture to make more and more new elements into traditional technique,itis contemporary artistic atmosphere,make the unique language of artists have flourished,the author lists the three most representative bone figure painters,through the analysis of the artistic features of their regularity,expression of thought,style,etc.,this paper expounds the contemporary in their works,and in this section finally tells the story through Xia Junna paintings,the author get inspired.The fourth chapter is the author's cognition,application and experience of color modeling.Specifically,it includes the following three aspects :(1)the performance of boneless method on hemp paper and cooked rice paper;the production process and reflection of graduation creation are introduced in the performance of hemp paper.(2)the pursuit of expressive language.This part through four aspects of analysis:(1)from the dunhuang murals "concave and convex method" on the "no bone method" decorative influence,(2)color richness,(3)the relationship between ink and water analysis,(4)the four aspects of the way to explore that no bone method with color modeling conform to the aesthetic pursuit of the moment.(3)change the color concept.This part discusses the application of color in the picture respectively from the new understanding of the traditional color view and the contemporaneity of "color endowed with emotion".Those painters who are interested in exploring the contemporary language of boneless painting can only find their way out by accumulating in practice and learning from the brushstrokes of the past and the present.
