Textbooks play a vital and iconic role in the development and construction of any discipline,especially in second language teaching and foreign language teaching.The textbook reflects the theoretical development of the subject,guiding teachers from theory to practice,and the preparation of textbooks reflects the development of Chinese as a foreign language.At present,in the overseas teaching,most of the general-purpose textbooks or local self-edited textbooks are used.However,at present,these two kinds of textbooks can no longer meet the growing learning needs of overseas Chinese learners.It is an inevitable trend for Chinese and foreign cooperatives to compile teaching materials.This article begins with the actual situation,introduces the subject setting and student situation of the Chinese major of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University.Then,the author examines the sprint articles of the Chinese-language intermediate course of the Chinese major of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University,and combines the test paper analysis,questionnaire survey,and teacher interviews to analyze the students' learning effects,and summarizes the problems existing in the current use of textbooks.The three aspects of language elements and after-school exercises are proposed to make recommendations.Through the writing of this article,the author hopes that this small step will lay the foundation for the actual preparation of the textbooks,so that students can improve their learning efficiency and learn Chinese better.
