An increasing number of film and television works has been labelled healing.Animation works that embody the “healing” elements are evocative in some ways.In recent years, although domestic animation has witnessed rapid development,a number of animations are poor in the spiritual culture and connotation due to the chase for commercial, entertaining and beautiful visual effects. Therefore, the combination of elements concerning psychological healing can be used as a new choice. This article starts with the works of the French Animation director Benjamin Renner, who is representative of expressing “healing” in the field of animation, and explores and refines the uniqueness of the creative technique of employing “healing” elements from the perspective of narrative structure, visual effects and dynamic depiction. The research attempts to combine the theoretical achievements with its own animation creation and make further analysis and implementation. It appeals for more professionals and general audiences to pay more attention to artistic psychology, cognitive communication and psychological healing.Meanwhile,it inspires young animators to strive to make the local human animation become more of healing, proving a broad space for development and innovation.
