The Bohai Rim Region is a peripheral region centered around the Bohai Sea.It has always played an important role in the social development process of Northeast Asia.During the Qin and Han Dynasties,the transportation system around the Bohai Sea gradually developed and matured,and the "C" road around the Bohai Sea represented by the sea lane had been formed;the ancient corridor in Western Liaoning represented by the Daling River valley was an important road connecting the Central Plains and the Northeast China;the cross-sea route represented by the Jiao-Liao sea lane was the link between the Liaodong Peninsula and the Shandong Peninsula,thus forming a systematic land-water transport.Route.Xiangping,Ji and Linzi are the central cities around the Bohai Sea,and constitute the four-way traffic network.Ports around the Bohai Sea have taken shape,with Tashi and Pingguo in eastern Liaoning,Yingqiu and Jieshi in Western Liaoning,and Xuxiang,Huang and Zhifu in Shandong,forming a parallel traffic structure between land and sea.During the Qin and Han Dynasties,on the basis of utilizing natural forces such as ocean currents and monsoon,sails and rudders were used,and direct sea-crossing routes appeared in seaports such as Jieshi and Zhifu.During the Qin and Han Dynasties,natural rivers and man-made canals were fully utilized for shipping.Liaohe River,Luanhe River,Haihe River,Yellow River and Jishui River around Bohai Sea had shipping records.During the Qin and Han Dynasties,the transportation system around the Bohai Sea had a great influence on the regional social development.The establishment of the transportation system around Bohai Sea is conducive to the strengthening of border control by the Central Plains Dynasty,improving the efficiency of military strikes,promoting regional society and economy development,and strengthening cultural exchanges among regions.The transportation routes around Bohai Sea are important channels for political management,military operations,economic development and cultural exchanges.Geshi is an important landmark around Bohai Sea in Qin and Han Dynasty.It has its unique position and role in geography,transportation,economy and culture.
