Research On Decorativeness Of Painting

George Morandi is an outstanding painter in the history of Italian art in the 20th century.Each piece of his elaborate paintings in his life flashes with fascinating brilliance and timeless charm,especially in his still life paintings.Morandi endeavored to pursue the conciseness and pureness of the painting language in order to explore the essence of art.Whether it is from color,shape or composition,Morandi has set a unique style of painting.This article begins with the collection of photographs and other picture materials that have been mastered,and statistically classifies picture frequency data,then analyzes and summarizes the picture features,and finally draws conclusions.This project focuses on Morandi’s still-life paintings.Study the style and formation process of the specific features of the screen of the work of the painter’s mature style.The embodiment of decorative features is analyzed from the shape of the object,the composition of the picture,the space,and the color.Finally,after analyzing,we conclude that the decorative features of Morandi’s still life works are"unique forms" and "subjective colors".
