In feudal society, the system of power alternation and inheritance is "father dies, son succeeds" or "brother dies" and power is only chosen among men, while women are excluded from politics. In the early Tang Dynasty, influenced by the historical legacy of women's political participation in the former dynasty and the multiculturalism at that time, the concept of women in society was more open-minded,and a group of women with political talents represented by Wu Zetian appeared, which set off a climax of women's political participation. This article, totaling more than 40,000 words,is divided into four parts to discuss the ethical thoughts of women participating in politics in the early Tang Dynasty. The introduction briefly introduces the research object, purpose and significance of women's political participation. This article is divided into five parts to discuss the ethical thinking of women's political participation in the early Tang Dynasty. The introduction gives a brief introduction to the relevant concepts, the purpose and significance of the study, and makes a comprehensive study on the phenomenon of women's participation in politics and related issues at home and abroad. In the first chapter, the representative figures of women's political participation at that time were summarized. At the same time, the social and historical background was analyzed, mainly from thefour aspects of politics, economy, culture and ethnic relations. The second chapter studies the ethical demands of women's political participation in the early Tang Dynasty.Starting from the two aspects of politics and family, firstly, women step into the political field occupied by men, showing women's political demands;secondly,in family emotions, couples' ethical demands that show "affection" and attach importance to "filial piety" to their mothers.Chapter three explores the relationship between their ethical demands and Confucian ethics, the mainstream of social ethics at that time.In the political ethics they inherited the Confucian thought of emphasizing self-cultivation and benevolent government, but the way of appointing "cruel officials" had an impact on Confucian ethics. In family ethics, they fulfilled the social requirements for women's identity and ethics.Similarly, their political participation and their expression of appeals had an impact on the Confucian thought of "men are superior to women".The fourth chapter is the ethical thinking of women's political participation in the early Tang Dynasty.Firstly, they provided a legitimate defense for women's participation in politics;secondly, they learned the experience and lessons from the incomplete awakening of women's self-consciousness in Tang Dynasty to provide inspiration for the overall awakening and development of women's self-consciousness;finally,they saw the negative impact of women's participation in politics on society andwomen's own development.Women's participation in politics makes women no longer confined to "male-dominated outside,female-dominated inside",recognizing that as an independent individual, women can go out of the house, dare to break through the feudal ethics fence, and show their unique pursuit in the political and family fields. They are like bright meteors in the history of the sky,but they have blossomed the most brilliant brilliance, leaving a far-reaching impact on future generations.
