The arrangement and correction of extracurricular homework is the last session of Chinese as a second language classroom teaching,it is also an indispensable important teaching session.It is not only a means for teachers to understand students'knowledge,adjust the key points and difficulties of teaching,and the progress of teaching,but also a means for students to review and consolidate what they have learned in the classroom and to check their learning.Due to the limited time of classroom teaching,the assignment is in the final stage of classroom teaching,and the correction is more backward,so it is often overlooked.The same is for the study of assignment and correction.At present,the research on Chinese homework assignments in Thailand is relatively weak,and a small number of studies focus on the study of homework assignments in Chinese teaching in middle schools.The research on the extracurricular assignments of Chinese teaching in colleges and universities is still blank.At present,nearly 100 universities offering Chinese majors in Thailand,and Thailand is the country which with the most Chinese language courses in the world.Investigating the arrangement and revision of Chinese language assignments for Chinese majors in Thai universities has important reference value for promoting the quality of Chinese language teaching in Thai universities and training qualified Chinese professionals.This study takes students from the 1 st to 4th grades of Chinese undergraduate majors in Ubon Ratchathani,Thailand,and Chinese teachers as the research population.The Chinese-language comprehensive assignments and corrections are changed to study subjects,using literature research methods,questionnaires,observations,and interviews and the case analysis method,investigated the current situation of the arrangement and correction of the extracurricular homework of the Chinese undergraduate come from Ubon Ratchathani.Thailand,analyzed the existing problems,and carried out a case study.Finally,the strategies and suggestions for the assignment and correction of the extracurricular assignments in the Chinese comprehensive course are put forward.From the surwey of the extracurricular homework of the Chinese undergraduate major in Ubon Ratchathani.Thailand,most teachers believe that extracurricular homework is very important for their Chinese teaching.Some teachers pay less attention to the assignment of extracurricular assignments themselves,and the amount of assignments is too large.The difficulty coefficient is also high,and the correction work is not enough.Because of the large amount of work,many students are unable to complete the work on time or the quality is not high.In addition,a considerable number of students like to be close to life,and they are more enthusiastic about situational homework and feel that the effect is significant.Finally,many teachers and classmates also realized that the assignment of extracurricular assignments was unreasonable.They also looked forward to innovative..lively and exciting homework.This study proposes the following strategies for optimizing the assignment and correction of extracurricular assignments in Chinese comprehensive courses:the types of extracurricular assignments should be appropriate,the difficulty should be reasonable,the quantity should be appropriate,the work should be rich and the form should be diversified,and the teacher should be properly revised.The following suggestions are given:each class teacher and classmates come to each other to re-recognize each other.The teacher should conduct a bottom-up evaluation of the Chinese level of the students in their class to understand the Chinese level of each student,and the teacher asks the students to feedback her teaching skills.According to the level of students and the difficulty of the number of assignments,groups can be organized,each group is good-learners lead weak-learners.and encourage each other.Organized more extracurricular activities,with purpose activities,and timely evaluate the results of activities and point out the inadequacies.When arranging the work,be sure to clarify the purpose of the work,preferably related to the content of the textbook.The teacher should correct the work in a timely manner,and be pertinent,preferably with humor,so that the students are easy to accept.The homework should involve a wider range,do not focus on spelling and writing,we must focus on reading and speaking.
