The Similarities And Differences Of Trombones In Jazz Band And Symphony Band

Trombone history can be traced back to the 15 th century,when used at play church music and opera su trombone scene,in the 19 th century has become fixed Musical Instruments in the symphony orchestra.In the late 19 th century early 20 th century in the United States was born in New Orleans jazz,trombone glissando,tongue trills,meet the diverse needs of jazz improvisation,is also an important part of the jazz band,occupies a pivotal position in jazz history.In this paper,the author in the symphony orchestra and band the two different band played,by studying the trombone in symphony orchestra and the history of jazz band,and works with notation on the similarities and differences compared and summarized.Hope their own practical experience combined with the former graduate student achievements,for the development of the trombone in the band and orchestra and innovation to provide valuable reference basis.
