| The translation of network literature has been a new way to introduce Chinese culture to other countries.Therefore,the study on the translation of Chinese network literature is of great importance.In view of this,the thesis intends to make an eco-translatological research from linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions on Poppy Toland’s translation of Sansheng Sanshi Shili Taohua and tries to figure out how the translator employed translation strategies according to different contexts.Poppy Toland’s translation features comparatively high degree of holistic adaption and selection.Therefore the translator is expected to have a consciousness to construct the translational eco-environment in translating,and make good use of different translation strategies for maintaining the eco-balance of the translational eco-environment.Furthermore,network literature translation facilitates the cultural interchange.For the purpose of introducing the Chinese culture,both Domesticating and Foreignizing strategies should be employed by the translators of Chinese network literature in translating culture.By doing so,the Chinese cultural elements can be reserved in the translation,which is also easily accepted by the target readers.Meanwhile,the research will have some significance for the Eco-translatology applications and applied studies,as well as for the study on the translation of network literature. |
