Study On Taoist Temple Economy In Jiangxi During The Song Dynasty

Taoism is a local religion in China.During the song dynasty,the rulers strongly supported daoism.Taoism developed further both in theory and in communication.Jiangxi was one of the most prosperous areas of Taoism in song dynasty.This paper studies from five parts.The first part mainly discusses Taoism in the song dynasty,and elaborates the development of Taoism in the song dynasty as a whole.Since the establishment of the song dynasty,emperors have supported Taoism,especially zhenzong and huizong.A series of measures,such as "the coming of shengzu" and "tianshu event",and huizong’s self-belief that "daojun emperor",have promoted the prosperity of Taoism.The second part mainly discusses the Taoist economy in the song dynasty,and analyzes the income sources and expenditure items of Taoist economy as a whole.Among them,there were five sources of income,namely,royal bounty,charity of believers,purchase and tenancy of official land,reclamation and annexation of land,and industrial and commercial operation.There are four major expenditures,namely,the debt,ultimatum expenditure,palace maintenance expenditure and daily consumption expenditure.The third part mainly discusses the income sources of Taoist temples in jiangxi during the song dynasty.Based on the analysis of the records of various temples in jiangxi province,it is concluded that the Taoist temples in jiangxi province in the song dynasty mainly derived from the following sources: 1.The second is self-operation income,which mainly includes self-purchase land,land operation,industrial and commercial operation and religious activity income.The fourth part mainly analyzes the expenditure of Taoist temples in jiangxi during the song dynasty.The fifth part mainly analyzes the characteristics and reasons of daoguan economy in jiangxi province in song dynasty.In the first part,by comparing the armies of different states in jiangxi and analyzing their differences,it is concluded that the Taoist temples of jiangxi in the song dynasty were mainly concentrated in the central and northern regions.By comparing the differences between Taoism and Buddhism in jiangxi province,it is concluded that Taoism developed rapidly in song dynasty,but was still inferior to Buddhism in general.The second part mainlyanalyzes the characteristics of daoguan economy in jiangxi during the song dynasty.The third part mainly analyzes the reasons for the above characteristics of daoguan economy in jiangxi during the song dynasty.Second,official support;Third,the promotion of the wind.
