Fragments of tutti in orchestra pieces are the most concentrated area for the comprehensive application of orchestration.As the master of modern orchestration,Gustav Mahler has made his symphonies an important model for contemporary orchestral creation,and the reference value of tutti fragment is selfevident.This paper takes some Mahler symphonies' tutti fragments as the research object,and also comprehensively observes the presentation of them from the birth and style formation of mahler's symphony,the use of musical instruments,the timbre arrangement,layout of tutti pieces and the application of orchestration,etc.In order to summarize the application characteristics and ingenious of mahler's orchestration technology,and then discuss the reasons for how various of great sound Mahler's symphonies and yet gorgeous style of Mahler's personalization orchestration.
