The Study On Musical Life Regarding Foreign Settlers In Tianjin Leased Territory In The Late Qing Dynasty

Taking The Chinese Times and Peking and Tientsin Times as historical materials,this paper applies The research mode of "music personnel and culture" in music cultural poetics proposed by Mr.Luo Qin,exploring and interpreting the content of the music life of the aliens in Tianjin Concession from 1868 to 1901,and the inevitability and particularity of its existence.In the author's opinion,the music life features of "complete entertainment and socialization" were presented in Tianjin concession during this period.Music appeared in the concession as an emotional bond and social way for the aliens.The salon spirit of the aliens and the public band in the concession were the most important special mechanism to ensure the emergence and development of music life in this period.
