| With the deepening of the reform of English curriculum in basic education,reading literacy is listed as one of the core of the cultivation of students’comprehensive accomplishment of English subject.In this study,the author observed that students’enthusiasm for the content of English reading classroom teaching was not high.Therefore,an action study was carried out in the low interest in English reading of 46 students in Class S Grade 2 from X primary School in the teaching class.Based on constructivism theory,hierarchical reading and the relevant theories of whole language teaching,this paper explores how to apply electronic painting to the teaching of English reading in primary schools in order to solve the problem of students’low interest in English reading,and finds the change of students’interest in reading before and after action research.This study mainly uses three research methods:questionnaire survey method,interview method and action research method.Both rounds of action studies are divided into four steps of planning,implementation,observation and reflection.Before the first round of action research,the author aims at the research question "How to apply the electronic picture book in the primary school English reading teaching?,"Combing relevant domestic and foreign research,so as to propose action research plan:The application of electronic book in reading teaching,integrate it into the pre-reading,while-reading and post-reading.Through the recording.and observation of the implementation process of the first round of action research,the classroom participation of students has been improved.At the same time,the author makes a reflection on the research and finds that the teaching lacks evaluation means,so adjusts and designs the second round of Action research plan,establishes the star evaluation system,and carries on the second round of action research.Through the analysis of the results of the previous questionnaire survey and the results of the students’ interviews after the study,it is found that the problem of students’annoying reading of English reading materials has been solved.It is found that the students’interest in reading has been improved obviously by applying the electronic drawing combination of the Star evaluation method in primary school English reading teaching,and there is less annoying reading emotion for English reading materials.Therefore,the application of electronic drawing book promotes the promotion of students’reading interest and is worthy of popularization and popularization in primary school English reading teaching. |
