This paper uses the combination of questionnaires and experimental methods to study the relationship between self-esteem,fair world beliefs and memory preferences of college students.Study 1 used the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale,the College Students’ Fair World Belief Scale and the Memory Preference Test to study the relationship between college students’ self-esteem,fair world beliefs and memory preferences.The results showed that self-esteem,fair world beliefs and memory preferences were three.There is a significant positive correlation between the two,and individuals with high self-esteem and high fair world beliefs have more positive memory preferences,and low self-esteem and low-just world belief individuals have more negative memory preferences.The research is divided into two parts.Experiment 1 uses the self-esteem implicit association test and the Rosenberg self-esteem scale to measure the implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem.Experiment 2 uses the implicit association test of the fair world belief to test the starting material of the fair world belief.The titer evaluation.The results show that:(1)the explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem of the individual are separated,and the self is more inclined to associate with the positive meaning.(2)Compared with people with good personality,individuals are more inclined to feel unfair to people with poor personality.Study 3 used experimental methods to study the influence of fair world beliefs of different self-esteem individuals on memory preferences.The experimental materials and the subjects were all derived from the results of Study 2.The results show that:(1)Self-esteem and fair world beliefs will have an Impact on individual self-preference,and there is an interactive effect of self-esteem and fair world belief on memory preferences.(2)The memory preferences of individuals with different self-esteem types have their own differences.After starting different beliefs in the fair world,they will affect the individual’s memory preferences.(3)When the positive fair world belief was initiated,the double high group,the vulnerable self-esteem group,and the double low group did not have obvious memory preferences,and the damaged self-esteem group showed negative memory preference.When the negative fair world belief was initiated,there was no obvious memory preference in the double-high group and the damaged self-esteem group,and the vulnerable self-esteem group and the double-low group showed negative memory preference.
