Demitri Dmitrievich Shostakovich,a representative of the 20 th century Soviet music school,was one of the most important composers of the 20 th century.His creations are broad in subject matter and rich in genre.His music is not completely out of traditional music,but he is innovative in traditional music and forms his own unique playing style.Shostakovich tried different genres and creative techniques in the early stages of music creation,and gradually formed his own unique style of creation.Among them,"Three Fantasy Dances" is a piano work by Shostakovich(1919-1924)and premiered at the Moscow Conservatory on March 20,1925.This work fully reflects the amazing talent of the composer,but also reveals the direction of Shostakovich’s future creation.This work has also been changed into a violin version.The purpose of writing this paper is to better present a better work in the author’s concert;on the other hand,to understand the social background,music image and performance skills by consulting related books,music scores and viewing audiovisual materials.In terms of combing and analyzing the works,the author grasps the new techniques and styles appearing in this work,and strives to restore the intention of the composer.
