During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,with the political chaos from the chaos to relative Unity,and from the opposition between the North and the South to the establishment of a unified regime of an unprecedented scale of multi-ethnic countries,and its relative stability over a long period of time.The rapid development of economy,politics,and culture,whether it is the rulers or the lower-level people's pursuit of the spiritual world has also become more and more important.Rulers distinguish between rank and rank through music to show their status and majesty.At the same time,music,as an important part of the cultural field,has developed comprehensively.Not only did the court nobles enjoy music,the common people also enjoyed music.The development of music can not be separated from musical instruments.The gong is both a musical instrument and a signal.It is very important both in the court and in the people.In the long course of history,the ancients left us a lot of valuable ancient books and materials.For example,"Twenty-five Histories","Ancient Chinese Documents Collection","Chinese Musical Relics Series"and so on.Since the 1920s,modern archaeology has just sprouted in China.This unique seedling of Chinese music archaeology has emerged,and it has developed rapidly with the development of Chinese archaeology.From these data of music archaeology,we can also more truly feel the shape of Gong and infer its characteristics of the times,and then infer some of its use in ancient times,so that historical records and archaeological discoveries can be well combined to study gong,making the study 'of Gong more real and effective value.This paper is mainly from the social culture and music culture background of Ming and Qing Dynasties,gongs in the music archaeological data of Ming and Qing Dynasties and comparative analysis of gongs in a number of columns,through combing the music archaeological data,literature,images,sorting out and analyzing some situations of musical gongs in Ming and Qing Dynasties.Because music archaeology involves a wide range of gongs,mainly from excavation or collection,as well as gongs in paintings.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.This article is the introduction,mainly from the purpose and significance of the thesis topics,value side,and the Ming and Qing dynasties,the research status and scope of gongs,as well as the research innovation and value of a simple overview.The second part of the article is to the Ming and Qing Dynasties social culture and music culture background specific summary.The description of the social culture and music culture background in the Ming and Qing dynasties was mainly elaborated from the aspects of culture,ideology,and music,so as to pave the way for the analysis and study of the gongs and gongs in the Ming and Qing dynasties.The third part is to collate and study the gongs from the historical materials and archaeological discoveries in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Through the "Twenty-Five Histories","Ancient Chinese Literature Integration" and archaeological excavation data analysis.The fourth part is to compare the gongs in the Ming and Qing dynasties from different angles and analyze them in detail through some forms and texts.Finally,the gongs of the M ing and Qing dynasties were collated and explored.
