With the proposal of "One Belt And One Road",the cooperation between China and other countries and regions in the world becomes more and more frequent,and the need of language communication among countries becomes more and more urgent.South Asia is an important hub region on the "One Belt And One Road".In recent years,the number of students studying in China is increasing gradually.Due to the cultural differences of different places,the study and life of international students in China are faced with a variety of tests and problems.Pakistani students have their own religious beliefs,so they need to overcome the barriers of cross-cultural communication and discomfort in food and drink after coming to Sichuan.This paper investigated the dietary habits of Pakistani international students in Sichuan normal university to understand their daily diet habits and the problems in Sichuan.According to the investigation,most Pakistani students like Sichuan cuisine and are quite accustomed to its spicy flavor.Because foreign students have different degrees of language communication barriers,food selection difficulties and food culture confusion,their dietary adaptation still needs to be improved.In addition,most overseas students have a strong interest in Sichuan food and food culture,they hope to learn about Sichuan food through learning,activities and other ways,so as to adapt to life better in Sichuan.Therefore,the author proposed the main strategies and auxiliary strategies to help Pakistani students to adapt to the sSichuan diet.The main strategy is teaching strategy,through various forms of teaching activities to explain the Sichuan dishes name,characteristics and other contents,so that Pakistani students can understandSichuan food culture,overcome strangeness and exclusion feeling from the psychological;The auxiliary strategy starts from students life and makes them learn the food culture and participate in the food activities through the Confucius institute activity publicity,network publicity,campus activities and other ways.Through the combination of teaching strategies and non-teaching strategies,the Pakistani students in Sichuan are expected to adapt to the food culture.
