Study On Heavy Colored Meticulous Figure Paintings With Tibetan Buddhism Theme

Tibetan Buddhism is an important part of Tibetan culture and has always been the source of inspiration for painters.By going deep into Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Region,we can experience the tranquility of Tibetans and be shocked by the devotion and practice of the believers.Therefore,it triggered my thoughts on the creation and research of figure painting with Tibetan Buddhism as its theme.I try to show the solemn and mysterious red-coated Lama and the simple Tibetan style and features,and to achieve the understanding and exploration of meticulous and heavycolored figure painting at the same time.This article was focused on the analysis and research of Tibetan Buddhism theme meticulous heavy color figure painting via on-the-spot investigation,literature research,case analysis,creative practice and other methods.The excellent works of related subjects were analyzed from various perspectives combined with field investigation,understanding of meticulous heavy-color techniques.Based on these,I created a series of meticulous heavy-color figure paintings with Tibetan Buddhist themes.The full text was divided into four chapters.In first chapter the research background and current development,purpose,significance and method of this topic were briefly introduced;In the second chapter firstly the general development of Tibetan Buddhism the connection of crafts between Han and Tibwtan and religious painting were elaborated,and the artistic characteristics of murals and Tangka were analyzed.Then I explored the characteristics of Tibetan figures and the performance of techniques based on the paintings of the Chinese and foreign artists in order to pave the way for subsequent creations;In the third chapter it was analyzed from three aspects including spiritual beliefs,the form beauty of the senses and the aesthetics of shape to show their influence and performance in the meticulous paintings.Then I expressed my views.The last chapter is that based on the previous related theory of artistic creation,combined with what we saw,heard and thought during investigation,we summarize and refine the collected materials and the sketches painted in the tour,and complete the research on painting creation.
