Electronic music creation has always attached great importance to the use of "space" elements in electronic music. However,in the field of electronic music creation nowadays, the practice of creating and expanding space through multi-channel loudspeakers has become the mainstream. There are many explorations and studies on space and multi-channel abroad, such as "projection space" constructed by IRCAM in Paris,France, and Spat,an audio space software compiled by IRCAM,which allows composers to explore new possibilities using any known audio space scheme and technology.Furthermore,CCRMA of Stanford University uses its own hardware and software to control HOA and bridge their three-dimensional sound space in BING concert hall.Composers can use a variety of means to achieve the music space they need. Therefore, this topic will take Hiromu Takano's Redundancy and Sign as the breakthrough point, through observing the composer's formation process of constructing music spatial logic and multi-channel technical means, and based on this, further explore the creative ideas of modern and contemporary composers. This paper mainly discusses the technology of multi-channel in electronic music and how to organize and construct space as a factor in music. From the perspective of the past to the present development of multi-channel technology and work thinking, this paper further discusses and analyses the techniques of multi-channel electronic music creation and multi-channel technology, thus outlining the development outline of multi-channel technology and creation,as well as the origin, connection and development of the composer's unique creative concept in pursuit of "space" of sound. At the same time,it provides reference for contemporary music creation and music theory research in China.
