The establishment of Lienu biography has become the norm since Zhengde Yunnan Chronicle. The compiling of Yunnan local chronicles reached its peak in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the government organized a great deal of local chronicles, which recorded a large number of Lienu caused by the scourge of war.Through the statistics of the.number of Lienu in Yunnan Local Records during the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China, and combing the relationship between the war disaster and the Lienu in Yunnan,it can intuitively see that the emergence of the Lienu in Yunnan is closely related to the war,and the disaster of war is the main reason for the death of women.Especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties, there were several great disasters of war resulting in a surge in the number of Lienu in Yunnan. In the past, the study of Yunnan women mostly described the life of women in Ming and Qing dynasties through the historical facts of women,or discussed the concept of virginity,Confucian etiquette and other morality. The influence of cultural factors on the women. In fact,in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the death of Yunnan women was not so much influenced by the moral culture such as the concept of purity and Confucianism.Through the way of death and analyzing the behavior track of Lienu,it can clearly know that only a small number of Lienu are actively martyred, most of them are forced to die because of the war,and death is not their voluntary choice, let alone defend their virginity. At the same time,by analyzing the main causes of the emergence of martyrs, this paper examines the historical data value of the biography of local Lienu, especially the value of the historical materials of Lienu in the ruling class in the study of war disaster,so as to provide a new perspective for the study of war disaster in Yunnan in Ming and Qing dynasties.
