| Zou hanxun(1805~1853), was famous as a scholar, Chronicles of Jurists in the late Qing Dynasty. He was busy compiling the local chronicles all his life. In his early times, he helped Deng Xianhe compile "Wugang local Chronicles","Baoqing local Chronicles" and so on. And then, he compiled four local chronicles in different places of Guizhou.This dissertation tries to expounds the Qing Dynasty's development in the local records (especially the late Qing's local records) by study of Zou's case.The full text is divided into two parts. The first chapter is "Zou's academic exchanges" . The chapter tries to investigate Zou's Chronicles academic resoures based on family influence with the atmosphere of learning, experience and the exchange of colleagues and friends.At the same time ,we will probe that the academic exchanges have a great influence on the formation of Zou's research methods in regional geography by exploring Zou's academic exchanges .The second Chapter is "Zou's academic achievements". Firstly, this chapter will introduce many chronicles of Jurists' theories about compiling local chronicles prior to Hanxun in the Qing Dynasty.It attempts to contrary to Zou's theories on compiling local chronicles. On the contrary, we will find Zou's theories on compiling local chronicles is an inheritance and development from these theorisist on theory of compiling local Chronicles. Secondly, we will introduce Zou's experiences on compiling the local chronicles, and then, describe several geography works which have received high praises in his anthology, analyse Zou's unique theories, methods, opinion concerning about compiling local Chronicles. For this reason, we try to reveal the process that the Chronicles of a traditional academic disciplines gradually step into applying the thought to practice disciplines in the modern time. |
