Practical Report On Influence Of Two-child Policy On Maternity And Child Health And Women Employment

National policies are authoritatively social value distribution plan,which will take effect in target group related to the policy.On January 1,2016,our nation started to implement “comprehensive two-child policy” so substantially that it had improved current population issue and social issue,however,which caused some similar issues such as “maternity and child health”,women's employment as well.The translating practical text selected by the translator is a kind of application form related to above issues called A Study on the Influence of Two-child Policy on Maternity and Child Health and Women Employment from the Perspective of Gender--A Case Study of XX Province.To translate this kind of text helps to understand China's population policy,to disseminate Chinese experience,and to display Chinese governmental governing wisdom internationally as well as to attract more international expertizes to contribute to Chinese population policy's improvement and development.The author has made sufficient preparations such as understanding of the text background and knowledge,choosing of translation tools,making of specific implemental plan.Based on George Steiner's hermeneutic theory,the author translated the project application form strictly abiding by four steps of“trust”,“aggression”,“incorporation” and “compensation”.Particularly,in the steps of “incorporation”,and “compensation”,the author understood the source text in depth and in details from different cutting-point.After completing above steps,the author did three-category corrections(two times self-corrections,two times others-corrections,and one time English native speaker-correction)in order to assure translation quality.Through the translation practice,the author has summarized up some problems arising from the process of translation and solutions to them and has deeply understood how to use translation theory in practice as well as skillfully has mastered translation methods of this kind project of application form,which are very significant to future translation works.
