Research On The "Stele Of Huashan Temple In Xiyue" In Han Dynasty

Since the reign of Qian and Jia in Qing Dynasty,the trend of cataloguing has been prevalent.Its main contents include geography,official,family name,lineage,religion,economy,ritual,music,politics,nationality and so on.It is an important document for studying ancient culture.From 1977 to 2005,Taiwan's Xinwenfeng Publishing House compiled and published a new edition of stone carving historical materials,which is rich in collection and provides detailed basic information for contemporary study of ancient epigraphy.The monument of Huashan Temple in Xiyue is a famous inscription of the Han Dynasty.However,the sources of data recorded by various schools are different,fragmented or erroneous,which needs to be sorted out and studied urgently.Under this academic background,this paper takes the description of the Xiyue Huashan Temple Stele as the theoretical basis,takes the comparison of the contents of the descriptions as the research focus,extracts the viewpoints of various schools,carries on the comparative analysis,and further combs the literature and historical materials involved in the book reviews of the descriptors,so as to have a more comprehensive,meticulous and detailed description of the Xiyue Huashan Temple Stele.Systematic understanding and research,in order to restore its true face,and provide useful reference for the study of stele.
