As China plays an increasingly important role in the international arena, the task of documentary which describes China's development is getting more and more urgent. At the same time, the study of simultaneous interpretation of documentaries have attracted wide attention in the academic community. The "Syntactic Linearity" theory based on the "Simplified Scheme" and economic principles is highly valued by researchers."Syntactic Linearity" refers to the translation operation adopted during the simultaneous interpretation process due to time constraints.Based on the "Simplified Scheme" principle proposed by Chomsky, the researchers developed several important principles of the natural language derivative process in the subsequent translation studies, collectively referred to as the "Economic Principle." In the specific simultaneous interpretation practice, there are some constrains to interpret, like the urgency of time, the differences in sentence structure between languages, the temporary memory ability of the human brain, and the translator's knowledge reserve and on-the-spot reaction ability. It is necessary to adopt the "Economy Principle" in the "Simplified Scheme".The principle is applied to simultaneous interpretation, which is the main principle of "Syntactic Linearity".In this context, this paper is based on the simulated Simultaneous Interpretation Practice of "Amazing China",and analyzes the problems encountered in the interpreting process. The author actively considers effective solutions to the interpretation problems. There are four main problems encountered in simulated simultaneous interpretation: the parallel sentence information is long and difficult to remember. The compound sentence clauses are tedious and complicated. The connection marks among sentences are omitted, and the dynamic and static sentence structure are different to interpret. In response to these problems, the author uses the application of the Syntactic Linearity and analyzes the differences between the initial interpretation and the adaptation interpretation, and proposes corresponding solutions from the perspective of sentence information, structure and morphology.
