| The travel of Ming and Qing dynasties occupy an important position in the history of Chinese travel.As a master of poetry and prose in the early Qing Dynasty,Wang Shizhen wrote a lot of travel prose.However,from research status quo,academic circles have relatively weak research on its travel prose.The research of Wang Shizhen’s travel prose can be carried out from the following aspects: life and travels,classification of travel prose,artistic style of travel prose and reasons for formation of his travel prose artistic style.According to Wang Shizhen’s life and travels,during the period of learning,Wang Shizhen’s grandfather,Wang Xiangjin,was also influenced by Wang Xiangchun,Wang Shilu and others in official and personal aspects.During the official period,Wang Shizhen traveled all over the country for a long time.After the dismissal,Wang Shizhen devoted himself to his creation.In his spare time,he did not forget to watch scenery and express his inner feelings.In terms of classification,Wang Shizhen’s travel notes can be divided into five categories according to region: Jinling,Yangzhou,Qinshu,Guangdong and Shandong Travel Notes.The analysis of Wang Shizhen’s travel prose in different regions and periods is helpful to understand him and his writings better.From the perspective of artistic style,Wang Shizhen’s travel prose as a whole shows characteristics of history,versatility,simplicity,frankness,sincerity,generosity,rich meanings and extra-rhyme.From cause of artistic style,Wang Shizhen’s travel prose is mainly influenced by his unique charm,personal unique experience and cultural environment in the early Qing Dynasty.Among them,individual unique experience is mainly divided into two aspects: changes of home and country;official travels during prosperous period.The influence of cultural environment in the early Qing Dynasty mainly includes two aspects: prosperity of "realistic" style;strict control of literary creation by the ruling class.Wang Shizhen’s travel prose is full of his literary interest,deep thinking about rise and fall of history,and scholar-bureaucrats feelings of seeing social changes with literary during travelings,all of which have deeply influenced literary creation of later generations.The study of Wang Shizhen’s travel prose is conducive to academic community’s correct understanding of Wang Shizhen’s position in the literary in the early Qing Dynasty. |
