The Study About Thematic Tendency Of Novella Love Story In The 1980s

At the beginning of the new period,love,which was expelled from the field of literature during the "Cultural Revolution",once again walked into the public sight.Since the 1980s,great changes have taken place in the Korean cultural environment.Love is intertwined with many factors,thus bringing another prosperity to the development of love stories.The theme of love stories in the 1980s tends to be rich and varied.This paper aims to study the thematic tendencies of mid-length love stories in the 1980s,and the novels have been classified and analyzed to have a comprehensive understanding of the thematic tendencies and Korean Chinese ideological change in the 1980s.By studying the theme tendency of love stories,it is discussed how love concept has changed and self-consciousness has arisen under influence of social,economic and cultural factors.The thesis examines the thematic tendencies of love stories in the 1980s by means of social and historical criticism and psychological analysis of literary and artistic criticism.The following is the research content of this paper.The first chapter shows the purpose and significance of the research on the theme tendency of Korean love stories,summarizes the relevant research,and points out the research methods and contents used in this paper.The second chapter is to expose the spiritual and physical trauma caused by history and society.Since the 1980s,Korean literary circles have broken through all kinds of forbidden zones,offering relatively free environment to Korean Chinese writers for creation.Therefore,the theme of love in the literary works has occupied a predominant place in the 1980s.The third chapter is to explore good and evil of human beings.With the rapid development of market economy in the 1980s and followingreconstruction of social cognition,the standards morality between good and evil are becoming more and more vague.By analyzing love stories in the 1980s,the relationship between right freedom and dissolute freedom is to be probed.The fourth chapter is to investigate the ethical and moral consciousness and awakening self-consciousness of the Korean Chinese people.Through the ideological changes of the characters in the works,the outmoded feudal morality is criticized,and especially for the women and intellectuals whose minds have been shackled for years,their awakening has played a decisive role in Korean literary circles and even their life.The fifth chapter is the research of this paper,summarizes and draws conclusions.Overall,The period of social change,as well as the period of ideological change,will affect people’s perception of love.Through the study of Korean love stories in the 1980s,the rich social cognition from all aspects of politics,economy and culture,and love concept could be investigated.The love stories in the 1980s,as a transitional period,have laid a solid foundation for love stories in the 1990s.
