Abstract/Summary:
The Mongolian hero epic "Jangar" is one of the three epic poems in China.The epic "Jangar" is not only circulated in this nation,but also spread in different forms among other countries.The Chinese translation of epic "Jangar" has achieved great success since the first Chinese version was completed in 1950.The experts as Se Dorji,Hei Le,Ding Shi Hao,Li Jin Hua has translated more then one hundred chapters into Chinese,excavating the essence of national traditional culture from the epic "Jangar".In addition,experts such as JiaMuCha and Wang ZhongYing have translated more than twenty chapters.With the study of "Jangar" deepened,the researches of Chinese version present multi-level and multi-angle situations.This thesis consists of four parts:introduction,text,conclusion,bibliography.Introduction including the original topic,research status,topic selection,research method,innovation point,and selected materials,etc.Chapter 1:The general introduction of Mongolian and Chinese translation of"The battle of Altanchej and Harsanal."Chapter 2:This paper makes a comparison between the two Chinese versions of the "Battle of Altanchej and Harsanal”from the perspectives of translation strategies and methods,and concretely analyses the treatment of proper nouns,prosody and language in the two Chinese versions.Chapter 3:This paper summarizes the characteristics of the two Chinese versions of "The battle of Altanchej and Harsanal".This paper puts forward some opinions on the choice of translation strategies for the Chinese version of "Jangar".Conclusion:sum up the contents and main points.
