The Research On Narrative Methods Of Folk Theme Documentaries

The Chinese folk culture is broad and profound which spread about thousands of years from ancient to modern,so folk activities develop to the extent that a variety of forms.Therefore,there are a great number of documentaries about folk customs,and quite rich content.Under the shock of economic globalization and urban-rural integration development,the local elements are replaced by globalized modern civilization elements increasingly.The mass folk activities are marginal,so the development and inheritance of folk culture become new social problems.Therefore,the topic selecting of folklore documentaries record the folk but not out of the public life,and close to the aspirations of the people,reflect the folk culture and social phenomena of different areas.This paper talks about the folklore documentaries from narrative expression.How to use different narrative techniques accurately in the process of creating folklore documentaries,which has a positive effect on the communication of folk culture.The paper combined the current social situation,and learned from excellent documentaries for comparative analysis according to the multi-dimensional narrative standard of documentaries.Meanwhile,the author took the narrative methods of folk documentaries as the main research content,and also discussed the personal work《The All Beings of Zhutuo Mountain》.The first chapter focuses on the concept and classification of folk documentaries,briefly summarizes the historical process,discusses the current situation of folklore documentaries under the new media era,and puts forward the corresponding development strategies.The second chapter is the key chapter of this paper,which mainly studies the narrative methods of folklore documentaries,and makes a detailed analysis from the perspectives of narrative idea,narrative characteristics and narrative expression.Firstly,through three advocacies from the perspective of civilians,the framework of humanistic spirit and the promotion of national culture,the author analyzed the narrative concept comparatively combining with the representative folklore documentaries;Secondly,it expands the multi-dimensional space with authenticity as the foundation and emotional experience as the clue,which sorts out the narrative features of folklore documentaries,and comprehensively analyzes the artistic features of personal work《The All Beings of Zhutuo Mountain》.Finally,it analyzes the narrative expression of folklore documentaries comprehensively from the details of narration,sound effect,montage and long lens,so as to enhance the narrative expression of personal work.The third chapter is the creation and thought of personal works,then the author reflected and summarized through the selection of stories and characters,shooting early and the layout of the materials later.This paper makes a comprehensive using of the four research methods about interdisciplinary research,literature analysis,case research and comparative study to discuss the narrative methods of folklore documentaries from multiple perspectives.Meanwhile,a preliminary discussion is on the new forms of folklore documentaries emerging on platforms such as short video and mobile client in recent years.Although it is not comprehensive,it does not carry out in-depth analysis on more aspects of the creation methods,only hope that provides references for the diversified research on the forms and narrative methods of traditional folklore documentaries.
