On July 8,2017,GuLangYu was selected to be included in the World Cultural Heritage List.The paper adapts a "cognitive-emotional "model to compare the cognitive,emotional and comprehensive image before and after the successful application for the World Cultural Heritage of Gulangyu based on the reviews of tourists extracted from the website with the web crawler technique developed by python language.The model uses the event as time point and applys the Natural Language Processing(NLP)to extract high-frequency words.It summarizes the differences of the comments before and after Gulangyu' s application for Cultural Heritage through this comparative analysis,and analyzes the main reasons for these differences.Therefore it could provide scientific,comprehensive and reasonable suggestions for the shaping and promotion of Gulangyu' s tourism image in the future,and provide suggestions for other scenic areas that are applying or will apply for the World Heritage.With the comparative analysis,the change in tourism perception image of GuLangYu after entering world heritage list are mainly reflected in three main aspects:(1)the quality of tourism products;(2)the enhancement of tourism service level;(3)the improvement of tourism environment.Also eight reasons for these differences are summarized as:(1)quality improvements of the tourism products;(2)integration of culture and tourism;(3)enhanced publicity and protection;(4)focusing on the quality of service and management;(5)improvement of the management level of tourism services;(6)enforcement of the market order;(7)consistent environmental improvement;(8)Policy formulation and coordination of mechanism.Although there is certain change in the perceptional image of GuLangYu tourism,it is found that the historical humanistic value has not been fully released yet,and the core elements of the most cultural heritage has not been perceived.Therefore,this paper provides the following suggestions:(1)For GuLangYu:Further integration of cultural heritage elements,improve the tourism product system,develop distinctive tourism products,and improve tourism services and so on.(2)For other scenic areas that are applying or will apply for the World cultural Heritage:the key is to establish a correct sense of application,evaluate the application scientifically,effectively coordinate the relationship between heritage protection and economic development,and consider development and protection simultaneously.
