| Tamatave University Confucius Institute is the second Confucius Institute in Madagascar,which is set up by Ningbo University and Tamatave University,having a3-year-old history.Along with the conducting of Chinese teaching,the questions within Chinese teaching in Tamatave University Confucius Institute are gradually revealed.How to improve the quality of teaching,solve teaching problems and cultivate Chinese talents in combination with local teaching situation and teachers and students is an important problem to be solved urgently.The author conducted a survey on the status of Chinese teaching of Tamatave University Confucius Institute through literature research,participation in observation,interviews,and questionnaire surveys.It includes courses,teachers,teaching objects,teaching materials,teaching methods,and teaching environment,and analyzed in detail in all aspects of the actual situation,then discovered the problems existing at the present stage of Tamatav University Confucius Institute.Combined his own experience in teaching at Tamatave Universitythe Confucius Institute and the actual situation of the Confucius Institute,the author proposed the following teaching opinions: First,to enrich cultural courses in various aspects and to carry out various forms of cultural activities;second,to integrate culture into the teaching of Chinese comprehensive classes;third,to use a variety of teaching methods in teaching;The fourth is to build a Chinese teaching model that is more refined and more practiced;the fifth is to compile Chinese textbooks in Madagascar.In the end,the author hopes to provide some effective and feasible solutions to teachers,students,and the teaching environment in order to promote the further development and improvement of Chinese teaching at Tamatavee University Confucius Institute.This paper contains five parts:The first part introduces the reasons of this topic,the research contents and the methods used in the study,as well as the present researches on Confucius Institute and the general overview of Chinese teaching in Madagascar.The second part contains the main status of Tamatave University Confucius Institute in Madagascar,including both the review of education history and the review of Chinese teaching in Madagascar,as well as the development of Tamatave University Confucius Institute.The third part contains the investigation and analysis on the present situation of Chinese teaching of Tamatave University Confucius Institute,including the Chinese curriculum design,the teachers and teaching objects,the teaching material and teaching methods,as well as the teaching environment,which are analyzed individually according to the actual influence of these basic situation.The fourth part contains some teaching suggestions and resolution strategies with regard to Chinese teaching of Tamatave University Confucius Institute.The fifth part summarizes and generalizes the research contents. |
