There are so many outstanding people in Jiangxi Province and its music culture is prospered since ancient times.In the history of modern Chinese music,so many musicians in Jiangxi Province have made important contributions,but some of them have not been known yet.In this paper,author will take Wang Jiaqiong,Wang Sixiang,Chen Honglian,and Wang Xiaofeng as examples to investigate the development of music education in higher normal schools in Jiangxi Province,and restore the historical merits of those music educators who should not be forgotten.The teaching careers of these four female music educators ranges from the 1920 s to the late 1990 s,which is the period of China’s modern society transformation.The music education in Jiangxi province,especially the development of higher normal teachers’ music education,always include the teaching achievements of these four female music educators.The first chapter is about "Pianist and Musician Educator Wang Jiaqiong",researching in her time and events to summarize her contribution to music education and her musical education ideas.As a pianist who has studied abroad twice,she works in the fields of general music education,social music education,and professional music education.She has made remarkable achievements and is the pioneer of modern piano music education in Jiangxi.The second chapter,"The Pianist and Musician Educator Wang Sixiang",begins with the life trajectory of Wang Sixiang,the music educator,and her deeds in music education,and then discusses her musical education ideas.As a top student of China’s first professional music school-Shanghai National Music College,Wang Sixiang specializes in general music education and professional music education,and cultivates a lot of musicians in the music education field of teachers’ colleges.The third chapter,"The vocalist and music educator Chen Honglian",elaborates on the life of vocal educator Chen Honglian with her contributions to music education,and concludes her musical education ideas.As a student who graduated from Chongqing Qingmuguan National Academy of Music(the predecessor of the Central Conservatory of Music),she is the pioneer of several aspects in vocal music field in Jiangxi,such as the first people opening the solo concert,holding the first student solo concert,and the original singer of many popular songs.She is a veritable pioneer of modern vocal performances and education in Jiangxi.The fourth chapter,"Vocalist and Music Educator Wang Xiaofeng",introduces the life of vocal music educator Wang Xiaofeng and her contributions to music education,and sums up her musical education ideas.As a member of the first batch of teachers of higher professional music education in Jiangxi Province,she has been working for nearly 40 years.She has trained a wide range of students,many of whom are influential singers throughout the country and the world.Wang Xiaofeng is a model for Jiangxi vocal music education.At the end,the author explores the historical position of these four female music educators in the development of Chinese modern music and expresses the prospects for the development of regional music history research in the future.
