| The enlightenment of higher music education in Wuhan was first in the role of missionaries,through the transmission of school songs,as well as the improvement of the school by Zhang Zhidong and others in the late Qing Dynasty and early Min Dynasty to the creation of the school,presenting an educational development model in which public and private schools go hand in hand,so that higher education in Wuhan from budding teeth to maturity,and leaving the imprint of the times for the modernization and development of music education in Wuhan.Wuhan’s special geographical location led to the fact that it was the center of the Xinhai Revolution,the Northern Expedition,and the Anti-Japanese War,and was one of the political and cultural centers of the country at that time.Higher music education in Wuhan was promoted by the government,squires and churches,so that it developed well at that time.However,in the 30 s and40s of the 20 th century,war swept through half of our country.Due to the negative impact of the war and other factors,the society,economy and people’s psychology at that time were severely damaged,and the development of higher music education was stagnant.Higher music education in Wuhan has influenced the school’s development thinking and practical behavior,the school’s curriculum and the choice of music teaching materials,the vigorous rise of various music concepts,the practice of music education in full swing,and the subjective initiative of various music teachers and students’ music activities themselves,all of which have formed a good interaction between music education and teaching,and gradually matured the concept of music education.This paper puts the Wuhan higher music education in the20 s and 50 s of the 20 th century in the historical background of the whole country,selects the music education in this period as a perspective,discusses the development of Wuhan higher music education in this period as a whole,and also interprets the music education situation in Wuhan at that time from a microscopic perspective,showing the status and characteristics of Wuhan higher music education during this period.Although the political situation at that time was turbulent,various educational administrative measures changed frequently,educational authority changed frequently,and personnel relations were complex and delicate,which greatly hindered the healthy development of education.Higher music education in Wuhan was no exception,which made the development of music education at that time have a significant gap between subjective aspirations and objective effects.Although it has encountered some obstacles and difficulties,it cannot be denied that the achievements of music education in Wuhan at that time still have reference significance and enlightenment for the development of music education today. |
