Mentioned in western classics,Saka Lived mainly in central areas of north and center of Central Asia,i.e.the Basin of Yili River and Chu River.Their living area is to north with Siberia,to east with Pamirs Plateau and Tianshan Moutains,to west with Caspian Sea and Aral Sea and to south with Syr Darya among the vast grassland,desert and mountains,which is the core area of communication between eastern and western civilization.The golden age of Saka in Central Asia is around from the 8th Century B.C.to the 3rd Century B.C.They declined and disappeared in history since they migrated and scattered in various places.Ethic groups in European-Asian grassland advocated gold since ancient times and this phenomenon was more and more common till Iron Age.A mass of golden artifact were discovered in each place.Golden artifacts are the luxury used daily by monarchy and aristocracies or ritual sacrifice,which stands for status and wealth.To some extent,golden art can reflect the national productivity,geographical environment of life,form of labor and other economic behavior of the nation.It is also related to military force,thoughts,aesthetic taste,religion and other outer factors.Thats to say,golden art is the symbol of Holographic of grassland nationality.Besides gold jewelry,gold card decorated for people,horse and weapon were also founded by archaeology in Saka living area.Gold art of Saka in Central Asia has its own unique charms with vivid and grace form,exquisite and chic ornamentation and various technology in the European-Asian grassland.The areas where Saka in Central Asia lived is gathering place of the communication between eastern and western culture since antiquity.Various ancient civilization are exchanged here,therefore presents a mulitcuture characteristic,which is demonstrated by gold art of Saka in Central Asia.This work is going to explore the characteristic of form,ornamentation and technology,so that to explore the multiculture of gold art of Saka in Central Asia and verify the communication and integration of eastern and western culture by analysis of history,geographical environment,religion,and archaeological discovery.
