Cultural & creative industry,as an emerging industry in the global economic landscape,has not been a new concept but a powerful economic engine.The tide of the creative economy has almost swept the whole world.In recent years,the development of the creative economy in most Chinese cities is booming than ever before.Film and television industry,an essential component of the cultural & creative industry,not only produces great profits but also aids the further development of the latter one.The advancement of China's cultural & creative industry will bring vigor and vitality to that of the Shaanxi's film and television.Few scholars have explored the development of Shaanxi's film and television from the perspective of cultural & creative industry.That is just the point the dissertation focuses on.The dissertation,with the approach of SWOT,analyses the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of Shaanxi's film and television in the course of its development and tries to find a new path for it.The essay expects to provide a new vision and model for the development of Shaanxi's culturally-and-creatively-based film and television industry by adhering to the principle of comparison between the past and the present,the combination of theory and practice,and the integration of reference and innovation.The dissertation,centered on cultural & creative industry and the development of Shaanxi's film and television,is composed of four partsThe first part discusses and analyses Shaanxi's film and television from the perspective of cultural & creative industry and the active role of time changes in prospering the industry,clarifies the research purpose and significance,combs through the literature at home and abroad,thus establishes the framework of the whole dissertation.The second part introduces the important role unique geological culture plays in the formation of the characteristics of Shaanxi's film and television,which falls into the following three aspects: 1.brief introduction to the geological of Shaanxi;2.the geological cultural characteristics embodied in Shaanxi's film and television;3.the diversity of Shaanxi's film and television influenced by geological culture.The third part analyses Shaanxi's culturally-and-creatively-based film and television industry with the approach of SWOT about its strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats,and proposes theoretically for its future development.The fourth part focuses on the innovation of Shaanxi's film and television under cultural & creative industry,and thus put forward four suggestions: refreshing mentality and improving core competence;enhancing intensive management mechanism;exploring new fund-raising modes;optimizing talents nurturing.
